Lately, numerous victims and survivors have come forward to report domestic abuse which is occurring just as much within congregations as in the broader society. It is a privileged to introduce you to this season's STORY-TELLER, Michelle.

We welcome back Melissa Affolter, as she helps us understand more about Michelle's situation - specifically about the ways to help victims of domestic abuse and survivors - as they navigate the healing process from this trauma, especially as it relates to sexual abuse and marriage.

We join Michelle, in the second part of her story where she elaborates on the devastating situation that impacts every aspect of her life, including her children and church family.

It is our privilege to a deep discussion with Brad Hambrick. Brad serves as the Pastor of Counseling at Summit Church in Durham, North Carolina. He also serves as Assistant Professor of Biblical Counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He's a council member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. From his many opportunities, he openly shares powerful and practical insights to level up what it means to care.
